The Hound of Kyrios

Today, I followed my guild to take on the Hound of Kyrios. I don't think I've ever seen anyone take on this monster of a boss before! 

I hardly knew what was happening, except that I had to keep very close to the boss and keep attacking! Somewhere along the way, I even managed to climb onto the Hound's shoulders to hit him from above!

After much attacking, we took the boss down! The magic from the Hound condensed into a golden statue, which was given to our guild leader, Howl, and placed in the guild house.

It's another eventful day with Freedom Orient. I wonder what other adventures we will have tomorrow?

The Hasla Rift

This is my first time fighting a world boss and I'm here in a raid with my new guild, Freedom Orient. It's a whole new world out there, filled with strong people and ever bigger monsters to overcome! 

I'm looking forward to learning about and experiencing all these new exciting things! :D  

Jidan was our tank, and the raid was led by Scint and assisted by Jino, both esteemed strategist of the guild. They gave everyone a briefing before we commenced the attack.




And we commenced our attack!

After much artful manoeuvring, tanking, healing, attacking and co-ordinating, we managed to take the giant golem down! I felt so proud of my guild!



We went to take on Hanure the Hunter after that, too!



What a day! It was the most eventful 24 hours I've had in my adventuring life!

To Two Crowns and a guild party, oh my!

Today, I followed Freedom Orient to the Nuian city of Two Crowns. 

Afterwards, we had an impromptu Yuletide party at the guild house! Luix the master musician played many songs for everyone.

There was much booze, and somebody even managed to land a fishing boat on the roof!

Here goes another unpredictable day with Freedom Orient. I wonder what exciting things will happen tomorrow?

Growlgate Isle

Today I went to Growlgate Island with Freedom Orient! 

While we were there, we accidentally caught the attention of a pirate guard! We tried running away, but he was ferocious and started attacking us. It hurt a lot and we had to fight back! 

It took such an immense amount of effort and time to kill him, even with the best of our fighters. This guard was so tanky! 

And after all that trouble and pain, we didn't even find single coin purse on his body. We've been cheated !!!

Nonetheless, we released a few fireworks to celebrate our effort. XD

My first farmcart!

Today Jeon and Vel helped me as I built my first farm cart!

After much hammering, crafting and carpentry ...

Ta-da !

I had been working all day on my farm cart, and I was getting quite tired towards the end. I started forgetting my materials, and counted the parts wrongly and had to make repeated trips to the warehouse to fetch additional items. Vel seemed incredibly amused at my incompetency.

"I used to think you're quite serious and a perfectionist. But after seeing how forgetful you are while working on your farm cart... my image of you changed!"

First Freedich Run !

Today, I went to Freedich Island with Freedom Orient for the first time! 

I felt a little at a loss, because I had no hauler or farmcarts. I wondered how I was going to bring my packs to the seaside, when a very stern archer with spiky hair approached me and offered his help !

The trade run was completed with no incident, but it sure was anxiety-inducing!

Overseas Trade Run!

Today I went on an overseas trade run with my guild, Freedom Orient!

We had 3 merchant ships and a big convoy! It was the biggest overseas trade run I've ever been part of!

Learnt a new trick!

Sam just taught me and Garviel how to do a crazy glider spin trick! I'm going to try it out!

My friends and I love to go exploring when we should be grinding for better equipments. 

Recently, we made a few trips to Growlgate Isle and after much sneaking about, we finally made away with enough pieces of pirate uniforms.

When I started, I thought I'd like to be a pirate. But there is no point being one unless you're really, really great, is there? Besides, Haranians, Nuians, or Pirates... these are just titles. What's important is that you're good, right? And right now, I just want to start by getting good !

More adventures on the sea

After yesterday's adventures out at sea, Orphel decided to take me treasure-hunting. In order to do so, she helped me build my very first swim fins !

Mintrovat, one of Orphel's adventurous friends, came along with us. 

We went on a trip to Growlgate, and nearly run into some pirates! Fortunately, we left quickly before we were spotted. Back in the open sea, we drank a Dahuta's Bubble potion each and went down into the sea in search of treasures! 

Min and Orphel were experienced treasure hunters, and since it was my first time down in the sunken city, they let me open the first jar we found. As I broke my first ancient sealed jar, I pulled out an old but mean looking pair of swimfins. Orphel looked bewildered and gestured wildly under water. It seemed like I got a very rare item! Orphel was so happy for me! 

First adventures on my clipper!

I told Orphel about my new clipper and she was very excited about it! I also showed her some pirate trinkets I found while sneaking about Growlgate. We decided to go out to sea to explore together. :D 

"Let's go!"

We decided to conquer the highest rock we could find! After some mad scrambling and skillful glidering, both of us managed to get to the top!

My guildie Kitty gave me a clipper plan! Kelly, the guild mistress, came to help us too and we went about building it! 

Thianks to Kitty, I can now explore beyond the ocean without having to rowboat my way out! Thanks Kitty! 

For our first adventure on a clipper, Skimble and I decided to go on a quest to find the infamous pirate island, Growlgate Isle. On our way, we sailed far out to sea and found this island! It seems to be built on ancient dragon bones!

There were houses which we assumed belonged to pirates there, but we didn't see anyone. It was as if they were all out pirating! We explored for a bit, and left to continue our journey towards Growlgate. 

We finally find Growlgate! And I spotted the Pirate King on his Black Pearl galleon from afar! Everything looked so formidable here!

We didn't want to risk being blown to pieces, so we left stealthily after exploring the area for a while.I can't wait to tell Orphel about this! 

Level 50!

Jeon and Orphel took me to Karkasse Ridgelends to acquire my last quest armor pieces!

Orphel already had much better gear, but she still did the quests with me!

Top of Hasla

I managed to glider and land on the highest rooftop in Veroe, Hasla! The view here is stunning - I'm going to tell Orphel about this place and bring her here!
