This is Shell, a suave firran with jet black fur and golden eyes.
We weren't really close, but he was one of my first companions when I set off on my journey from Falcorth Plains. He was also the person whom told me that I should consider being a blighter, so I'll tell you a story about our journey together.
Shell and I came from the same place, and despite us not being very familiar with each other, he suggested that we go explore together. Shell was an archer and very efficient in completing his tasks and quests, so we were making good progress at the start of our journey... until I missed a task and couldn't complete a quest to earn my snow lion mount.
"Let's backtrack and take a look to see what you missed." He said to my surprise. I had thought he would leave me to my own devices and go on his hurried way. He whistled for his coalmane snow lion, which bounded into view with a majestic roar. "Hop on !" he beckoned.
I still remember it was night time, and we rode over the rippling plains with the brillant stars and moon overhead.

Well, that wasn't a picture of us riding double for the first time. In fact, I didn't have any pictures of our early adventures together, but you get the idea.
There was something about riding double on a snow lion for the first time with someone of the opposite gender. I got this feeling in my stomach and thought to myself, this must be the feeling one might get when walking into an arena fight with a thousand people cheering.
We managed to get me my snow lion cub, whom you now know as Skimble!
I thought we would continue our journey together for a long time, but when we arrived at Mahadevi, things began to change.
One day we were riding down the road outside the City of Towers, Shell stopped and got down from his snow lion. "Let's duel." He said. I had never fought a duel for real, so I was at a complete loss at what I had to do. He ran around from me like a housefly, and before I knew what happened, he unleashed his primeval skills and defeated me. He made a face at me as I pulled arrowheads out of my tail.
Things started to change after that. Slowly, Shell stopped showing up, and I wouldn't know where he had gone. Sometimes I wouldn't even see him for days. When we did meet, I noticed he was becoming stronger a lot faster than I did. I tried catching up to him, and every time I thought I've finally caught up, he would have became even stronger the next time we met. I felt like there was no way I really could catch up anymore, even though I always told him I would.
He seemed to be doing things by himself all the time, too. "Come join the guild activities!" I wrote to him, "Come on trade runs with us!" but days turned to weeks, and I stopped hearing from him. We still weren't as close as friends could be, but I felt rather sad nonetheless. Was it boring to travel with me? Was it because I lost to him? Was he leaving me behind because I was too weak?
Finally, one day, I received a note from him.
"I'm bored of this travelling and questing," he said. "This life isn't for me. Sorry, but I'm going back."
And I never heard from him again.
So that was that. What an anti-climax ending to this part of my journey, huh?

Fortunately, my guild and my family was there as well, so I was never really alone. My first guild and my family members are an interesting bunch, I would love to tell you more about them in another entry. So, here is a preview of what I will write about next time.
That's all for today !
