Villanelle

This picture was taken during one of our visits to Villanelle.

Villanelle is a pretty town of  majestic harbour views, cliffs, beautiful lute music and cherry blossoms. The townsfolk are gentle, soft-spoken people, walking the many stone bridges and sailing their big junk boats floating down the harbor.

One drawback of travelling to this town by foot is that many villagers living in the outskirts seemed to be addicted to their famous rice wine. Skimble and I would be running along the padi dykes, minding our own business ... and suddenly drunkards would run after us, shouting "It's YOU!!" and try to gang up on us for no reason. What the heck !

... I totally didn't dismember drunks to feed them to Skimble.
Even if I did, it was an accident. And they would be sliced and diced, not dismembered, assuming IF I had done it, of course.

...And even IF that happened, it would've been their fault anyway.

*innocent look*
