"Hey, Vel,"
"What's up Luka?"
"Look what shifu passed to me for safekeeping."
Aifi seemed to be dissatisfied about something lately.
Vel told me it was because she was too impatient, seeing others' success, but not how much hard work, sweat and tears had been put in, or the hundreds and even thousands of failures that had to happen before. She expected to succeed.
Aifi tossed the bundle to me before leaving in a huff, telling me to sell it to whoever paid the best price.
"I don't think so," Vel said, "She's probably just angry for now. These pieces are like her life. I am sure she would be heartbroken if someone actually DID buy them."
I wish I could make Aifi feel like it was worth her effort to hang around, but I guess there wasn't anything either Vel or I could have done. So instead of worrying, we posed with Aifi's armour and took some pictures with it.
Later on, Aifi came back, seemingly calmer.
"Did anyone buy the armour?"
"... Nope."
"Not at all."
"Well, some joker offered 3000 gold."
Vel and I looked as innocent as we could.
"3000 gold for celestial Epherium? He can go to hell!"
Aifi took back her armor, put it on, and walked off.
